Boat trailer service · Orem, Utah
Boat trailer service & repair — safe from driveway to ramp.
From I-15 traffic to canyon roads and the long haul to Lake Powell, Utah is tough on boat trailers. We service bearings, brakes, lights, tires and everything in between so your boat gets to the water — and back home — safely.
- Wheel bearings & hubs
- Surge & electric brakes
- Lights & wiring
- Tires, axles & winch
Why it matters in Utah
Long hauls, steep grades, and lots of dunking.
Utah boaters tow long distances — Lake Powell, Bear Lake, Flaming Gorge — often over mountain passes and down steep canyon grades. Every launch also dunks hot hubs and brakes into cold water, which pulls water into bearings and corrodes brake parts.
A trailer failure at highway speed is dangerous and expensive. Regular service keeps bearings greased, brakes working, lights legal and tires road-worthy, so the trip to the lake is as uneventful as it should be.

- 03
No roadside breakdowns
Catch worn bearings and tires before they leave you stranded on the way to Powell.
- 04
Protects your boat
Bunks, rollers and winch adjusted so your hull is supported and secure.

Trailer Service FAQ
Trailer Service in Utah, answered.
How often should I service my boat trailer in Utah?
At least once a year, and more often if you tow long distances or launch frequently. It's also smart to have it checked before a long trip, like a drive to Lake Powell or Bear Lake.
How often should trailer wheel bearings be repacked?
Boat trailer bearings are submerged at every launch, so most owners have them inspected and repacked or replaced every year. Signs of trouble include hot hubs after driving, grinding noises or wobble in the wheel.
Do you service surge brakes and electric brakes?
Yes. Most boat trailers use surge brakes, and some use electric or electric-over-hydraulic. We inspect, service and repair all of them, including actuators, lines and fluid.
My trailer lights keep failing — can you fix that?
Yes. Water and corrosion are the usual culprits. We repair wiring, grounds and connectors, and can upgrade you to sealed, submersible LED lights.
When should boat trailer tires be replaced?
Trailer tires often age out before they wear out, especially in Utah's sun. If you see cracking, dry rot, bulges or uneven wear, it's time to replace them. We'll inspect them as part of every service.
Can you service my trailer while my boat is in the shop?
Absolutely. Many customers have their trailer serviced during winterization, summerization or storage so everything is ready together.
