Boat summerization · Orem, Utah
Spring boat summerization — lake-ready on day one.
Utah's boating season is short, so don't lose a single weekend to a dead battery or an overheating engine. We de-winterize, inspect, service and test your boat so it's ready for Utah Lake, Deer Creek, Jordanelle, Strawberry and Lake Powell the moment the water warms up.
- Full de-winterization
- Battery, fluids & impeller check
- Safety gear inspection
- Water-tested & ready
Why it matters in Utah
Months in storage take a toll.
After five or six months of Utah cold, rubber impellers stiffen, batteries lose their charge, fuel lines and hoses can crack, and critters find their way into engine compartments. Launching without a proper spring check is how lake days end on the end of a tow rope.
A professional summerization reverses your winterization step by step, catches anything the freeze damaged, and gets your cooling system ready for hot July days on the water — so you spend the season boating, not waiting in line at a shop in June.

Summerization FAQ
Summerization in Utah, answered.
What is boat summerization?
Summerization (also called de-winterization or spring commissioning) reverses the winterization process and inspects your boat after storage: engine and cooling system, batteries, fuel system, drive, ballast systems and safety gear — so it's ready for the season.
When should I summerize my boat in Utah?
Book in February or March and have it done in March or April, a few weeks before your first trip. That leaves time to order parts and avoids the rush before Memorial Day weekend.
Do I need to summerize if you winterized my boat?
Yes. Winterization protects the boat for storage; summerization brings it back to running condition and checks for anything that changed over the winter, like cracked hoses or a weak battery.
Do I need the Utah Mussel-Aware course before launching?
Yes. Utah requires all boaters to complete the free annual Mussel-Aware boater course and keep proof of completion in the launch vehicle. Boats coming from Lake Powell or out of state also need to be cleaned, drained and dried or professionally decontaminated before launching elsewhere in Utah.
Can you summerize wake boats with ballast and heaters?
Absolutely. We re-commission ballast pumps, bags, heaters and showers, and check towers and surf systems on wake and surf boats.
Do you service boats that weren't winterized by you?
Yes. Bring your boat in and we'll inspect everything carefully — including checking for freeze damage if it wasn't winterized properly.
